The perfect place to shop for fresh fruits, vegetables, honey, maple syrup and flowers. In addition we offer a fine selections of delicious breads, pastries, cheeses and cured meats.
Held from MAY to OCTOBER, every Thursday 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, come and meet our local farmers and vendors who display their best fresh produce and variety of products. Such as rhubarb, strawberries, and asparagus in the early summer to squash and pumpkins in the fall.
Most importantly safety measures are in place for a safe shopping experience.

CELEBRATES Over 32 years of proudly bringing Ontario farm fresh produce, preserves, and local products to our community.
The North York Farmers’ Market, first opened in 1994 lead by founder, Mrs. Marlene Mckay of Willowtree Farm. Mrs. Mckay was a true visionary and Farmer who galvanized Growers and Artisans in solidarity in the support of local enterprise. The North York Farmers’ Market mission then, as it is now, is to bring farm-fresh produce and artisanal products to the richly diverse, North Toronto community in a spirit of fun, wellness and safety!

North York Rotary Club - Terry Fox Run

The Rotary Club of North York hosts an annual, volunteer-led Terry Fox Run in downtown North York at Mel Lastman Square/Gibson Park. The 5 km family-friendly event in September raises funds for cancer research, featuring a 9:00 AM start with registration beginning at 8:00 AM, supported by local community members.

IN MEMORIAM
Mark Wilson
We are extremely sad to announce that our beloved beekeeper Mark Wilson of ELFSONG APIARIES will not be with us in the physical sense. Mark transitioned unexpectedly on February 2023. Mark Wilson was an integral member of our Market Family and was one of the founding members of the North York Farmers’ Market and astute Board Member. While we look forward to our Opening Day, it will never, ever be the same without Mark at the helm!
May God bless and keep you and your bees safe, sound and sure dearest Mark as you lovingly lead your beloved, North York Farmers’ Market, Farm Family from your beehive in the skies! Mark we continue to feel your love and send your our prayers, blessings and love.
